The port is situated on the west coast of India, located at Jaigad (Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra State). The coordinates of the facility at Latitute 17° 12' North and Longitude 73° 43' East. This makes it 110 nautical miles south from Mumbai and 126 nautical miles north from Mormugao Harbour at Goa.
Angré Port is connected by National Highway NH-17 and State Highway 106. The Konkan Railway route is 45km away from the port with a 4-lan road and dedicated rail link being proposed.
